SEO Report Template
A monthly report structure that leads with what matters to the client: results, work completed, issues and next steps.
Description
Clients read the first paragraph and skim the rest. This report puts the summary first, explains numbers in plain language and ends with a clear plan.
Use case
Use it for monthly client reports, or adapt it for quarterly reviews and handovers.
Instructions
- Pull the same date ranges every month and compare against the previous period and last year.
- Write the summary last, in three sentences or fewer.
- Explain every number: what changed, why you think it changed, and what you will do.
- List work completed with links, so the client can see the effort.
- End with the plan and any decisions you need from the client.
